PSA Service Animals

No Debate (Assistance Animals)

When a woman with a service animal tries to rent an apartment, she has a "debate" with the landlord, who has a "No Pet Policy" and will not make an exception for assistance animals. She files a complaint with HUD because the Fair Housing Act requires housing providers to permit service/assistance animals (including comfort and emotional support animals) without species restrictions in housing.Open Publication
